Brass Heat Set Inserts

Standard brass heat-set threaded inserts used in my printed cooler designs for strong, repeatable threads.

Installation

• Install using a soldering iron (2-3mm conical or insert tip)
• Suggested temp: ~220 °C
• Press in slowly and keep the insert square to avoid leaning
• Let the part cool before installing a screw

• Price is per insert (quantity = number of inserts)

How many do I need?

• Direct Mount Cooler: 1 insert
• UCGF Cooler: 2 inserts

Tip: If you’re ordering for multiple builds, add extras! Spares are handy for reprints or future projects.
