Excellent product delivered in no time. Easy to install and adjust over the SFP. I didn't have to move my UDM-Pro to create space due to the small factor of the cooler. It's super quiet and worked right away. The CPU temperature dropped down by ~20°C, which is fantastic.

Performance:
My was-110 has been idling 75-78 and was hitting 82-83 at times on hotspot checks. With the low RPM variant, I'm now idling 59-60 and I haven't set seen over 61 loaded.

Packaging:
This came in a 3d printed "case" to keep everything secure and safe in transport. Completely unnecessary since the packaging was so good, just a level of care you don't really see too often.

Expensive? I don't think so. This is a QUALITY setup, highly recommend

My gear is located in my garage, which gets really hot in the summer. This cooler is a requirement for my system, not just a nice-to-have. My only real wish for this is that it would have come with its own power supply, instead of me scrounging for an old phone charger and a short USB-C cable to power it up.

The cooler works great! It knocked 25 degrees celsius off of the module's cpu and optical temps.

Excellent cooler, it brought my temps down by almost 30 degrees Celcius
I was pleasantly surprised that it also came in a 3d printer enclosure that protected it in transport
One thing of note is that you may need to move your equipment around to make sure there is enough room for the fan

Works great. Fit my X-ONU-SFPP perfectly, didn't need to unplug the fiber either. Regulates the temperate enough to prevent burning off fingerprints upon touch.

Summary: Great product, works with my SFP+ ONT and router. Would recommend!

Hardware it's used with:
• E.C.I. Networks SFP+ ONT model EN-XGSFPP-OMAC-V2
• Ubiquiti Dream Router 7

The EXEN fan ships in two 3d printed pieces, the actual fan and a sturdy cover / sheath. Nice touch.

Installation of the fan housing onto the SFP+ required a little flexing to get it to slip on. The PETG-GF print is thick enough -- the flexing isn't enough to break the fan housing. The snugness insures a secure fit.

The UDR7's SFP port is rotated 90 degrees right. As a result, the EXEN fan's USB power port points downwards towards the power plug and the surface that the UDR7 sits on. There is sufficient clearance between the power plug and the EXEN fan in all directions.

However, a typical straight USB-C cable *may* be an issue. The original cable I used had too long of a grip end. A second one, however, worked. I recommend using a right-angle headed USB-C cable as shown in the EXEN product listing.

The UDR7+ONT+fan combo sits on a high bookshelf in my living room, about 60 inches from my TV. The operating fan is *very quiet*. Using a db meter, at 1 foot the sound is ~ 33db, equivalent to a quiet room. Sitting on my couch 12 feet away, the AC airflow coming from the vents is louder.

ONT operating temperature with the fan going is below 60 degrees C. According to the ONT stat page, CPU0 is at 54.06, CPU1 is at 51.88 and optic temperature is 36.03.

I joined the 8311 discord during my ATT fiber install effort. Once there I started looking for, among other things, an SFT+ cooling solution. EXEN was highly recommended. I'm very happy I purchased this fan and would recommend it too!

Great quality print. Was able to accommodate a small special request for me without issue.

I ran my X-ONU-SFPP without the cooler for a couple minutes just to see and it got hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch. The cooler knocks those temps down significantly.

Cooler as shipped was mounted to a shipping bracket. It arrived in perfect condition. Fan fits perfectly and works great

Super pleased. Bought the 9000 variant. Works perfectly. Don’t see much point in the 7k option, this this is basically silent

Excellent little device. Reduced temps by 25degC. Previously my UCG was throttling my download and upload but now that it runs cooler it’s working better. Also it’s really well built. Very clean and the quality of the 3D printing is top notch.

I am very happy with my order! The EXEN Direct Mount USB-C, X-ONU-SFP, 7000 RPM was delivered in very good packaging. There was also a 3D-printed protective case that provides excellent protection for the product. Great job — this is really well done!

I connected the fan to my stick without any issues. The temperature dropped very quickly, from 79°C to 55°C in less than an hour.

Excellent product and excellent packaging. Bravo, and thank you!

Works perfectly.

Cooler works great! Super impressed with it. Only note is that the cooler is pretty tall and blocks the SFP+ port for devices that are mounted 1U above it.

As described, works.
Not perfectly quiet and it never claimed to be.

USB Cooler worked well. Very high quality print and assembly. Even came with a 3d Printed part to protect it in transit. Highly worth the value.

Reasonably silent and keeps the unit super cool compared to how it was without it. I have had no issues at all with it and it's been rock solid and reliable. Quite well built too.

The fan and the device worked right out the box. It was a simple configuration following the guide.

Keeps cool as advertised. Surprisingly quiet, and good application of 3D printing. USB-C power is convenient.
